Kim Chiu gave fans a glimpse of her newest “adventure” as she tried wakeboarding for the first time during her recent vacation in Coron, Palawan.

The actress and “It’s Showtime” host showed her first wakeboarding experience via her Instagram page yesterday, May 5.

Chiu can be seen riding the waves against the backdrop of Coron’s sunny beaches, wearing a life vest and squealing with excitement.

“My first time trying wakeboarding! Super fun!” she exclaimed. “Kinda scary at first but that’s the thing with adventure, there is self-fulfillment once you get to do the things you thought you can’t do. That’s the exciting part!”

Chiu is currently in Coron for a vacation with her sister Lakam and brother John Paul.

The actress, who recently turned 32 years old, reunited with all of her four siblings in time for her birthday celebration last April 19. According to her, it was the first time they were all together since their mother died in 2013.

Chiu also enjoyed a trip to Thailand with her boyfriend, actor Xian Lim, last month. It was her first trip abroad in two years, apparently since the COVID-19 pandemic.  /ra
