Sharon Cuneta greets KC Concepcion on 37th birthday: ‘Huge chunk of my heart is empty without you’

Sharon Cuneta expressed her longing for her eldest daughter, actress KC Concepcion, who is celebrating her 37th birthday in New York.
Cuneta penned a lengthy birthday greeting while showing throwback photos of herself and Concepcion, via Cuneta’s Instagram page today, April 7.
“So much has been said, so much yet to say. So much has happened, so much has changed. Still, know that there is a huge chunk of my heart that is missing, empty without you,” she said.
The Megastar then assured Concepcion of her constant support as her mother. The veteran singer-actress also spoke about their family, reminding her daughter that she is loved despite her parents, Cuneta and actor Gabby Concepcion, being separated.
“I will always be your mother, no matter what choices in life you have made and will make,” Cuneta stated. “I will be here, constantly praying for you, wishing things were different, that you didn’t have to grow up too fast — that the pain of your family breaking up didn’t have to happen nor burden you.”
“God bless you and guide you through your life, my beautiful big girl,” she added. “One day, we will all be together and it will all be wonderful again. Have a beautiful birthday!”

Meanwhile, KC spent her birthday in a shooting set in New York, revealing that she got back to acting, as per her Instagram page, also today.
“Being back on set for my birthday, doing what I’ve always loved, is a celebration in itself… Please, do what makes you happy – what makes you feel alive!!!” she said.
“Coming back to acting [and] living in New York for work is another dream come true,” KC added. “Keep dreaming new dreams loves.”

Concepcion returned to the Philippines last month and reunited with her sisters from her father’s side. She also appeared to have met with him virtually as she posted a photo of their video call. JB
