American singer-songwriter Keith Martin found dead in QC condo

MANILA, Philippines — American singer-songwriter Keith Martin, who popularized the song “Because of You,” was found dead in a condominium unit in Quezon City on Friday.
According to police, a resident from a neighboring unit reported to the condominium’s property manager the odor coming from the sixth floor of the building.
They then traced the odor and found out that it was coming from Martin’s unit. The property manager immediately informed barangay officials.
At about 10:50 a.m., barangay officials and the staff of the condominium entered the said unit and saw Martin’s body on the bed.
Police were then informed of the discovery.
Police said investigation on the incident will be turned over to the Crime Investigation Section of the Quezon City Police District.
