Maricel Laxa was among those who extended their prayers for the people who were affected by the wildfires in the Pacific Palisades, which was the actress’ home during her teenage years.

“The Palisades was my home for all my teenage years. We lived at the top of the hill on Charmel Lane,” she said.
“Walking down to school and back up home after was always a surreal and breathtaking two-mile hike going through lovely views of the ocean and the most beautiful homes,” she recounted.
Among Laxa’s unforgettable memories from then were the home cooked meals, conversations around the dining table, and “doing life” with her foster family.
