Rufa Mae Quinto expressed her gratitude to Willie Revillame who gave her P1 million as help amid her legal battle involving an alleged investment scam linked to a skincare company she had endorsed.
Quinto disclosed this during a visit to Revillame’s television show “Wil to Win” on Monday, Jan. 13.
“Maraming salamat for giving me help, help, hooray!” the actress-comedian said.
“Hindi lang po kayo ang tinulungan niya, kundi pati ako,” she added, facing the studio audience.
Quinto and Revillame, who worked together in a few projects in the past, shared that they chanced upon each other at a restaurant right after the actress was released from the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) custody.

Quinto reiterated that she visited the show to thank Revillame, and to show the people as well that she is okay. Being the comedian that she is, Quinto even joked about her earlier voluntary surrender to the NBI.
Pangsimula muli.”

Quinto has maintained her innocence, with her legal counsel saying the actress is also a “victim” as the skincare company had yet to pay her endorsement fee.
