Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque opted not to have a dinner date for their anniversary, instead going to a museum to celebrate the milestone.
The actress gave fans a glimpse of their trip to Pinto Art Museum in Antipolo, Rizal, via her Instagram page yesterday, Feb. 1. Though not showing photos with Roque, she stated that their trip was for their anniversary.
“A day at the museum. A few days ago, Dom and I went to the Pinto museum to celebrate our anniversary (I was on a strict diet for a very special shoot, that’s why we couldn’t go on a dinner date),” she explained.
Alonzo added that their date turned out to be a “fantastic day” as she and Roque spent time appreciating the various art pieces in the museum.
“[We] took many pictures and took our sweet time appreciating art around us. I love spending days like that. Simple and spontaneous,” she said.
For his part, Roque showed himself walking along a corridor in the museum, as seen on his Instagram page, also yesterday.
Alonzo and Roque marked their anniversary last Friday, Jan. 28. The actress admitted that she considers her relationship with Roque as “one of the best decisions I’ve ever made,” noting it took “so much patience” from the actor.
Alonzo confirmed her relationship with Roque in August last year, during an exclusive interview with “24 Oras.” While she believes that Roque is “husband material,” she thinks it is still too early for them to settle down.
The actress also recently stood up to those who have been asking her about starting a family, saying she is not in a hurry to get married and be a mom. According to her, everyone has their “own timeline” when it comes to these matters. /ra
