Michael V. gives ‘no spoiler’ review of ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’
Michael V. was ecstatic over finally seeing “Spider-Man: No Way Home” in an advance screening, as he talked about the things fans can look forward to in the movie.
The comedian managed to get seats for him and his family in a private advance screening by Columbia Pictures Philippines, he stated on his Facebook page today, Jan. 6. He then gave fans a “no spoiler” review of the movie and some reminders before the public sees it in cinemas.
“It’s everything I expected and more! [Despite] all the action, sobrang emotional ng movie (for a lot of different reasons) para sa ‘kin!” he said. (Despite all the action, the movie was so emotional for a lot of different reasons for me.)
Michael V. reminded fans that the movie is over two hours long, so they might want to consider going to the bathroom beforehand. He also noted that there are two end credit scenes, one of which is the trailer of “Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.”
He then dropped hints about “Pinoys represent” and the Marvel supervillain group Sinister Six.
Finally, napanood na namin ‘yung #SpiderManNoWayHome kagabi! Big thanks to Jay Gonzales and Doris Torres of Columbia…
Michael V. acknowledged that the public is excited to see “Spider-Man: No Way Home” hit Philippine cinemas on Jan. 8. Given this, he reminded people to observe safety protocols when watching in public theaters.
“Alam kong marami sa inyo ang excited pero kung manonood kayo on Jan. 8, please observe safety protocols at all times,” he told fans. (I know many of you are excited, but if you’re going to watch on Jan. 8, please observe safety protocols at all times.)
The comedian admitted that he missed going to the cinema to watch movies, and reflected on how it was something he “took for grated” before the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Watching movies in cinemas is something that we all took for granted before the pandemic at kagaya ng marami sa inyo (and like many of you), my family and I missed it a lot!” he said. “Sana mag-ingat tayong lahat para ma-enjoy uli natin.” (I hope we are all careful so we can enjoy this again.) /ra
