Alden Richards marked his 30th year with a simple “birthday salubong” in California, and ushered in the milestone by showing off his toned abs.

On his Instagram page Sunday, Jan. 2, the actor is shown bundled up in a fuzzy blanket while holding his birthday cake. He held the birthday celebration at Lake Tahoe, California.

“Grateful for 30 fruitful years. Thank you for all the greetings. God has always been so good,” he told fans. “First birthday salubong ko pala ‘to (This is my first time to welcome my birthday).”

“Discipline is the key,” he said.

The actor received birthday greetings from fellow celebrities Gabbi Garcia, Lovi Poe, Megan Young, as well as his “Eat Bulaga” co-hosts Allan K. and Ryan Agoncillo.
