Actress-TV host Kris Aquino extended help to victims of super typhoon Odette in the Visayas with Vice President Leni Robredo.

The Queen of All Media gave away relief goods with the Vice President in Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental earlier today, Dec. 21. Aquino was wearing a pink hoodie with a sequined heart and a pink face mask while handing out bags of relief goods. She was also standing next to Robredo while handing them out.

The Vice President was thankful to Aquino for helping with the relief operations.

“Nung nalaman niya po na magre-relief operations dito sa Negros Occidental, kagabi po nag-promise siya na sasama siya ngayon and sumama nga siya,” Robredo said through her office, also today.

Aquino earlier commended Robredo and Sen. Manny Pacquiao in an Instagram post last Sunday, Dec. 19. She said she was glad that the Vice President and the boxer-Senator teamed up to help victims.

The TV host also shared that despite being on vacation with her fiancé Mel Sarmiento, she was aware of the disaster caused by the super typhoon. She said that she has been on non-stop communication with her friends about the typhoon and how they could help, specifically actress Angel Locsin.

The super typhoon made its first landfall on Siargao last Thursday, Dec. 16. It caused devastation to other parts of Visayas and Mindanao over the next few days. Celebrities including Andi Eigenmann and Slater Young have also been vocal about appealing for aid to help victims. JB
