“Pinoy Big Brother” alum Slater Young has shared images of the devastating situation of Cebu, after super typhoon Odette hit the country.

Young described the city as a “mess” as he showed the videos he got while driving around town, via his Instagram page yesterday, Dec. 18.

“We are safe. Cebu’s a mess. No power. No [internet]. Just got signal. People are lining up for water, food, and gas,” he said.

The video showed roads filled with fallen trees, buildings with shattered glass windows and electrical posts hanging by their cables. Gas stations were also seen swarmed by people lining up for gas.

Young offered his business factory, which got looted amid the typhoon, as temporary shelter for his employees who lost their houses.

“Liteblock got looted. A lot of our employees are now homeless — using our factory as a temporary shelter for them. We’re trying to help out where we can,” he said.

Young assured fans that they are safe and asked for prayers as he also celebrates his birthday today, Dec. 19.

“A lot of friends looking for us kasi (because) daw we live in a glass house. We’re okay guys. We”ll try to give an update soon but mahirap yung internet connections and super busy din,” he stated. (We’ll try to give an update soon but there’s weak internet connection and we’re super busy.)

Celebrities Iya Villania, Bianca Gonzalez and Chynna Ortaleza also expressed their concern and offered prayers to Young’s family.
