Jake Cuenca finally got to pay a visit to the delivery rider who was hit by a stray bullet during a car chase he had with the police.

Cuenca, who got involved in a road accident involving authorities last month, can be seen holding the hand of delivery rider Eleazar Matinito, on his Instagram page today, Nov. 6. They appear to have met at the rider’s home.

Cuenca allegedly hit a police patrol vehicle in Mandaluyong City last Oct. 9. He was said to have driven away from the scene, which supposedly prompted police to chase after him. They attempted to disable his vehicle by shooting at its tire. Amid the car chase, Martinito was hit by a stray bullet.

Paulo Avelino defended Cuenca last month, stating his fellow actor was not drunk driving during the incident. Authorities did not find any illegal substances or materials in the actor’s car.

Cuenca clarified in an exclusive interview with “TV Patrol” last month that he was not arrested. He claimed that he drove away from the road incident scene because the police officers were in civilian clothes and had firearms. He also said he wanted to extend help to the delivery rider who was hurt during the car chase. JB
