BTS member J-Hope just posed with a sculpture that appears to look like actor Paolo Contis, and fans could not help but feel jealous over the K-pop star’s “museum date.”

J-Hope showed a video of himself looking at a sculpture of a huge sleeping head on the K-pop boy group’s Twitter page yesterday, Nov. 1. The artwork is “Mask II” by Ron Mueck, as per a 2017 release by The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, Texas.

Shortly after the video’s release, some Filipino BTS fans pointed out Contis’ resemblance to the art piece which they dubbed the “Paolo Contis sculpture.” The actor’s name also trended on Twitter yesterday under the K-pop and music categories.

According to The Museum of Fine Arts in Houston, “Mask II” is a mixed-media self-portrait of Mueck and it is “four times larger than life-sized.”

Other K-pop idols who visited the art piece are Cha Eun-woo of the boy group Astro and Rosé of the girl group Blackpink. JB
