Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez exuded the joys of a countryside romance in their prenup shoot in Batangas, as they prepare for their upcoming wedding.
The celebrity couple’s prenup portraits were shown by wedding photographer Pat Dy and other members of his team on their respective Instagram pages today, Oct. 20. According to photographer Nelwin Uy, the photos were taken in San Juan, Batangas.
Abellana donned a white, long-sleeved lace dress paired with gloves and a ribboned sun hat, while Rodriguez looked dashing in a beige suit.
“It’s always about finding that sweet spot (photography-wise) that’s appropriate for my couples,” Dy explained. “This time, a much lighter mood with Tom and Carla for their engagement shoot.”
The couple’s prenup photos also featured them in laidback outfits as they walked around and lay on the grass in what appears to be a garden.
Abellana wore a printed brown dress with white heeled boots and Rodriguez donned a gray button-down shirt paired with black pants.
Rodriguez proposed to Abellana in October last year. They announced their engagement last March. The couple has been in a relationship since 2014, after meeting through the TV show “My Husband’s Lover.”
Abellana and Rodriguez plan to get married at Madre de Dios Chapel in Talisay, Batangas, this month, as per wedding banns released by the local parish.
While waiting for her wedding day, Abellena received a “wholesome” bachelorette treat from fellow celebrities earlier this month. The gathering was arranged with the help of her co-stars in the GMA series “To Have and to Hold.” /ra
