LOOK: Carla Abellana finally engaged to longtime boyfriend Tom Rodriguez
Carla Abellana and Tom Rodriguez finally confirmed their engagement after about seven years of being a couple.
“A million times, YES,” Abellana said as she showed her engagement ring in her Instagram page yesterday, March 21.

“I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you simply, without problems or pride: I love you in this way because I do not know any other way of loving but this,” Rodriguez said, quoting the poet Pablo Neruda, while he showed a similar photo of Abellana’s ring on his Instagram page on the same day.

The couple may have just made their announcement recently, but their proposal photographers revealed that they have actually been engaged since October last year.

Rodriguez opted for a more intimate setting to pop the question. As seen in the photos, the Kapuso actor was holding the ring in his hand while he knelt in front of Abellana and a backdrop of white flowers.

Abellana and Rodriguez have been dating since 2014. When Rodriguez was asked last August if he would be willing to get married amid the pandemic, he said he does not have a problem with it. However, he said Abellana’s answer about it was “definitely no.” JB
