WATCH: Gerald Anderson goes food-tripping with Julia Barretto’s family in Baguio

Gerald Anderson and Julia Barretto enjoyed various dishes from Baguio City as they went on a getaway-cum-food-trip with the actress’ family.
The couple was accompanied by the actress’s mother Marjorie Barretto and her siblings Leon, Claudia and Erich. They all went to a local coffee shop, a pizza place and an ice cream parlor, among others. Julia showed their food trip on her YouTube vlog yesterday, July 24, after Julia posted photos from the getaway on her Instagram page last week.
“How can I be on a diet when all my kids are eating?” Marjorie asked as they dined at a hamburger store, to which Julia quipped “Parang kasalanan pa namin.” (It’s like this is our fault.)
Julia also admitted that she had so much fun on her trip that she struggled to take videos for her vlog.
“I tried my best to vlog today and I don’t know if it’s working out just fine. It’s hard to vlog,” she said, while Marjorie told her it’s better to “be in the moment.”
“When you’re having fun, it’s hard to stop,” Marjorie added.
Julia then gave a brief tour of the local handicrafts store Sabado’s, which she said is her favorite place in Baguio.
“We are now in Sabado’s here in Baguio. One of my favorite spots. There’s a lot of furniture and decorative pieces,” she said, showing off items inside the store. Anderson and Marjorie can be seen admiring the sculptures.
The couple appeared to be comfortable with their public displays of affection. Anderson also made jokes and had candid conversations with Julia’s family when they visited an old biking spot in the city.
Marjorie and Erich recently joined the couple on a sailing trip in Subic. They also went swimming, fishing and kayaking together with the actor’s friends.
Anderson confirmed his relationship with Julia last March. The couple had since gone on several trips and had their COVID-19 vaccines together. JB
