Maine Mendoza thanked her fans as she marked her 6th anniversary in the entertainment industry last July 4.
“6th year today. Ang bilis talaga! Ang dami na ding nangyari at wala na akong mahihiling pa,” tweeted the 26-year-old actress, who got her big break for portraying Yaya Dub in “Eat Bulaga.”
(Time flies so fast! So many things have already happened and I have nothing else to ask for now.)
“Maraming salamat sa mga patuloy na sumusuporta at nagmamahal. Mahal ko kayo (Thank you very much for your continuous support and love. I love you all),” she added.

On July 16, just over a week after her showbiz debut, Mendoza’s Yaya Dub persona began being paired with Alden Richards. The pairing eventually became the iconic AlDub love team.
As her fame skyrocketed, Mendoza began starring in several other projects including the “Tamang Panahon” concert and the films “Imagine You and Me,” “My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore” and “Isa Pa with Feelings,” among others.
She has also ventured into music, releasing singles including “Lost with You,” “Parang Kailan Lang” and “Imagine You and Me,” which was made into a movie starring her.
Mendoza, meanwhile, recently got her COVID-19 vaccine and has since urged the public to get theirs too to help the country achieve herd immunity. /ra
