Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s latest collaboration may be their most intimate yet, as the singers announced that they have tied the knot last Saturday, July 3.
“July 3rd 2021 dreams do come true! @blakeshelton I love you,” the pop star said through her Instagram page today, July 6. Her announcement was accompanied by the hashtag “#married.”
Stefani displayed photos from the intimate ceremony, where she and Shelton can be seen posing by a cliff, driving off in a golf cart and kissing in front of a wedding cake. The photos were soon after also posted by Shelton on his Instagram page.
Stefani then showed a video of her wearing a white robe while flipping back her wedding veil, on her Instagram page also today.
Designer Vera Wang gave a few more details about Stefani’s gown, also today via Instagram.
“She chose a custom lily white silk georgette and hand tumbled tulle high low gown with a plunging neckline and a cut away back,” the designer stated. “The gown was worn with a lily white chapel length veil featuring hand embroidered names of Blake, Gwen, Kingston, Zuma and Apollo flanked by 2 white roses at the hem of the veil.”
The couple reportedly had their wedding at Shelton’s Oklahoma ranch where he was said to have built a chapel for Stefani, as per Page Six on Sunday, July 4.
Stefani and Shelton met in the reality talent show “The Voice,” where the country singer was an original coach. They began dating in 2015 and announced their engagement in October of last year. JB
