Ruffa Gutierrez cheers on her ‘first graduate’ Lorin, salutes fellow single mothers

Ruffa Gutierrez could not help but feel proud of her daughter Lorin for graduating high school, but she also paid tribute to fellow single mothers as she marked the milestone.
“Congratulations to my first graduate, @loringabriella. I will save the hugs, kisses and mushy messages for us in private,” the actress stated in her Instagram page on Saturday, June 5, as she showed a series of photos with her daughter, who was wearing a graduation toga.
“We will hold your hand as you move forward to the next chapter in life. Soar high!” Gutierrez added.

Gutierrez also showed photos of their family’s intimate celebration for Lorin, amid festive balloon arrangements and a banner that reads “Congratulations Lorin.” Her mother Annabelle Rama was with them.
The actress admitted getting teary-eyed whenever she remembers the emotional day and honored fellow single mothers for having the strength to raise their children on their own.
“Today I want to salute all the hard-working single mothers who have raised their children with courage and strength on their own. The road is never easy but we persevere,” she said via Instagram yesterday, June 7. “Keep the faith that God will reward our struggles with blessings we can’t even begin to imagine.”

Gutierrez has been a single mother to her daughters, Lorin and Venice, following her split with ex-husband Yilmaz Bektas. They officially parted ways in 2007, but have recently discussed the possibility of coparenting after 13 years of their separation. JB
