Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray has finally been reunited with her parents in Australia after one year and four months.
“finally reunited with my mama and papa bear [emoji] Family is everything. Thank you God for answering my prayers,” the Filipino-Australian beauty queen posted on Instagram earlier today, May 18.
Gray, who flew to Adelaide, Australia, earlier this month, has just finished her mandatory two-week quarantine at a hotel.

Gray’s post came with a heartwarming photo collage of her and her father embracing as they see each other for the first time this year.
Celebrities back in the Philippines, including Sarah Lahbati and fellow beauty queen Sandra Lemonon, meanwhile, expressed their joy over the model-singer’s reunion with her parents.
“I long to see my family too Cat. Thank you for sharing this and encouraging me that I too will get to someday see those who mean so much to me… my family,” Gary Valenciano also commented.

Gray previously shared that she had to cancel or postpone work just to reunite with her parents, but it was all worth it as she realizes “that relationships and family are the most important things.” /ra
