Ivana Alawi to give single moms the earnings from her Mother’s Day vlog
Instead of a prank or a grand celebration for Mother’s Day, Ivana Alawi chose to mark the occasion by donating the earnings of her vlog episode to charities for single mothers.
Alawi said she wanted to donate to charities for single moms to pay tribute to her mother Fatima, who is also a single parent, as seen on her YouTube vlog yesterday, May 11. She added that the decision to give away her earnings was supported by her mother.
“Napagkasunduan namin ni mama na yung kita nitong video na ito ay ido-donate namin sa charity. Maghahanap kami ng charity ng mga single moms gaya ng aming mama,” she said. (Mom and I agreed that earnings from this video would be donated to charity. We’ll look for a [charitable organization] that helps single mothers like our mom.)
She urged people to avoid skipping ads for her vlogs so they can also help the organization that her family chooses.

“Today, we must make you feel special and loved, and give you back kahit konting pagmamahal na ibinibigay niyo sa aming mga anak,” the vlogger said. (Today, we must make you feel special and loved, and give you back even a little bit of love that you give us, your children.)
They also gave her a bouquet of pink roses and a French Bulldog, which Alawi said was her mom’s “dream dog.” JB
