LOOK: Christian Bale goes bald for villain role in ‘Thor: Love and Thunder’

Renowned method actor Christian Bale is now donning a shaved head while filming for his role as Gorr the God Butcher in “Thor: Love and Thunder.”

Keen-eyed fans spotted the newly-transformed Bale enjoying a day off with his family at Australia’s Palm Beach, north of Sydney, where they are currently filming the Marvel film, as per The Daily Mail on April 18.

Bale, who is no stranger to transforming his look for his roles, has also lost quite a bit of weight although it is unclear if the weight loss is for the said role. Gorr in the Marvel comics, however, does sport a slim yet toned physique.

Photos of the Hollywood star have been spreading on social media after Twitter user @TheGeek_Zone shared them on April 18.

The said movie, which is the fourth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s “Thor” franchise, has been filming since January in several parts of Sydney, including the city’s Centennial Park, according to the report.

Some of Bale’s most famous transformations include buffing up for the “Batman” trilogy and getting really skinny for “The Machinist,” among others.

In “Thor: Love and Thunder,” Bale is joined by Chris Hemsworth as the God of Thunder himself, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster and Jeff Goldblum as the Grandmaster. Russel Crowe has also joined the cast although his role remains undisclosed.

Aside from Bale, Portman also underwent a transformation of her own as she was spotted having buff arms in leaked behind-the-scenes photos of the film.
