Donnalyn Bartolome to launch tree-planting project through charity org Influence Us

Actress and social media star Donnalyn Bartolome will be holding a tree-planting project through her charity organization Influence Us.
Through the organization, Bartolome and several other donors have so far been able to help the public in times of calamity. After collecting P1,083,418 as of Jan. 30, Bartolome announced that they will now use the money to help the environment.
“Our charity @influence_us.ph deployed boats to affected areas/provinces, packed and delivered food for thousands of families and animals affected by the typhoon, and now, with the money I earned from YouTube, we will be planting trees to prevent future flooding. [Prevention] is better than cure,” she shared on Instagram yesterday, March 18.

Bartolome’s post came with several photos of their previous charity work. Donors can check out how to donate via the Instagram page of Influence Us, where Bartolome and her team post receipts and proof of the donations.
“All that subscribing and not skipping ads will all be worth it!” the YouTube star said.
“I remember the stress of knowing I can’t do anything more than I did but cry for the people affected. I knew you guys felt the same so I collected donations through my [YouTube] revenue and other ways so if you’ve subscribed and watched my videos YOU HAVE DONE SOMETHING,” Bartolome stressed.
Bartolome advised those willing to join the organization’s tree-planting project to message their Instagram page for instructions. They have yet to announce a schedule for the said initiative. /ra
