Angelina Jolie claims having ‘proof of domestic violence’ against ex-husband Brad Pitt
Angelina Jolie filed new court documents claiming she has proof of domestic violence against her ex-husband Brad Pitt, which may also include testimonies from their children.
Jolie made it clear that she is willing to offer “proof and authority in support” of her allegations of domestic violence during her divorce trial with Pitt, The Blast reported yesterday, March 17.
Apart from Jolie’s testimony, she also filed documents that could get their children Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne to testify in their divorce proceedings, but Pitt would also have to grant permission for them to be involved. Their other children, Maddox, Zahara and Pax can also testify in the trial, but they won’t need parental consent since they are of legal age.
The actress first accused her ex-husband of violence towards their son Maddox in 2016. She claimed he got physical with the teenage boy over a dispute while aboard a private jet. The United States Federal Bureau of Investigation investigated the allegation, but cleared Pitt of any wrongdoing after a review.
The upcoming trial between Jolie and Pitt will determine custody of their children and the divide of their joint estate, The Sun said in a March 17 report.
