Confirmed: Alex Gonzaga and Mikee Morada are married!
MANILA, Philippines — Actress Alex Gonzaga and Lipa City, Batangas Councilor Mikee Morada are now married!
The couple announced the good news in a vlog entry in Alex’s YouTube channel on Saturday.
“Kinasal na po kami. Isa na po akong maybahay, isa na po akong wife (We are now married. I am now a wife),” she said in the vlog as they showed their wedding rings.
Alex said they got married in a simple wedding ceremony last November.
“Simple lang, kasama lang ang family at parents namin (It was simple, we were just with our family),” the actress said.
Alex also explained why they did not immediately announce their wedding.
“We want to celebrate together as a family muna. ‘Yung timing din, at tsaka alam namin na may pandemic (We also considered the timing, we know there is a pandemic), so we just wanted to keep it to ourselves for a little while to celebrate,” she said.
In the caption of her vlog, Alex said they are hoping to have a “big wedding where we can celebrate with friends and the whole family this year.”
