Fil-Am singer Olivia Rodrigo’s ‘Drivers License’ rules Apple Music, Spotify
MANILA, Philippines — Filipino-American singer Olivia Rodrigo has been topping the charts of major music streaming platforms with her debut single “Drivers License.”
Shortly after its release on January 8, the song dominated Apple Music’s Top 100: Global chart, and Spotify’s Global Top 200 chart.
The 17-year-old singer has also shared on social media her excitement over the success of her new single.
“uhhhhhh so drivers license is the number one song in the world rn. never in my wildest dreams did I expect this. thank u guys so much for listening. I can’t believe this is real life,” she said in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

The official music video currently has 18 million views on YouTube – just five days after it was released.
