Mikey Bustos, partner RJ Garcia mark 8th anniversary

Comedian and singer Mikey Bustos and his partner RJ Garcia recently marked their 8th anniversary together.
Bustos celebrated their love by sharing a photo of him giving Garcia a peck on the cheek, the two looking dapper in red and navy suits.
“It’s an awesome day! Happy 8th year anniversary to my gorgeous King,” said Bustos via Instagram on Dec. 21. “Let’s go help make the world a better place, @appleboyrj! We have much work to do!”
The Filipino-Canadian YouTube star added that he wished he had a picture of the two of them from eight years ago to share.
“But back then we were hiding and took no photos together in fear that they would be leaked #closetedproblems,” he said. “Thank God we don’t need to do that anymore and can live life the way every human being should live life – authentic and free forever!”

Bustos publicly came out on social media last April 2019 by sharing photos of him and Garcia on Instagram. Bustos, then, hinted at a “new life” and “freedom,” as he posted the gay pride flag in his captions.
For their anniversary dinner, Bustos shared that Garcia rented out the entire Lemuria Gourmet Restaurant in Quezon City for the two of them. Garcia also hired a violinist five hours away to serenade them.
“Incredible wine, food, and ambiance. It was an unforgettable anniversary dinner!” said Bustos. “I wish it could be our anniversary every day.”

Bustos likewise expressed his gratitude to the people who sent greetings their way and hoped for “true love” for all.
“It’s been a long journey for sure and I wish for true love (in whatever form) to be felt by every single person on this planet, free of expectations, fear, or condition,” Bustos said. “The world needs more of it!” JB
