Video creator Zeinab Harake revealed that she and rapper Skusta Clee (real name: Daryl Ruiz) are expecting their first baby together.
The couple made the announcement on the vlogger’s YouTube page yesterday, Dec. 1, through a video called “Birthday Surprise Revelation.”
She first explained that despite being in an on-and-off relationship with Ruiz for years, they patched things up last July. Months after getting back together, Harake learned that she was already pregnant on Oct. 6.
Harake also noted that Ruiz was already living with her before they found out about their future baby.
After realizing that they were expecting, the two took the time to fix any problems with their families before deciding to share the news. However, she revealed that it was not easy choosing to share her pregnancy since she also experienced depression.
Despite the doubts she initially had and the rocky history of their relationship, Harake assured her fans that the baby is not a mistake.
“Gusto kong sabihin na hindi ito mistake, hindi ito karma,” she said. “Blessing ito galing kay God, and ito yung pinakamagandang regalong, natanggap ko ngayong birthday ko.”
(I want to say that this is not a mistake, this is not karma. This is a blessing from God, and this is the most beautiful gift I have received for my birthday.)
The two also shared a quick glimpse of the child’s sonogram alongside a positive pregnancy test.
The announcement quickly went viral online and has gained over 5.9 million views as of this writing. Harake, who has 8.4 million subscribers, earned the second spot on YouTube Philippines’ list of top local creators this year. /ra
