Ria Atayde appeals for help in identifying person wishing her death

Ria Atayde has asked her fans to help her identify an unknown person who has sent her insulting messages and wished for her death.
The messages came from an Instagram user with the handle @sandrchuikang4181, as per screenshots Atayde posted on her Twitter page yesterday, Oct. 27.
The anonymous person told the actress to distance herself from a certain JM. The person appears to be referring to JM de Guzman, who was previously rumored to be romantically linked with the actress.

The Instagram user also called Atayde ugly, flirty, fat and muscled, among other insults.
“[S]ana mamatay ka na ([I] hope you die already),” the person added.
The anonymous sender did not stop there and instead continued to label Atayde as a pig, a crazy person and a dog who simply follows others around.
“[K]ababae mong tao ikaw pa [humahabol] sa lalaki (You are a woman and yet you are the one chasing men),” the Instagram user said.
Following the threatening messages, Atayde appealed to her followers to help her find the person behind the account.
“No one should ever wish someone death,” she stressed. “This isn’t something I will take lightly.”
The actress then assured her supporters that she is emotionally fine.
“Di lang kasi tama yung ganun. May hangganan din [d]apat ang pambabash. Bata pa ako at 28,” Atayde said. “Ayoko pa mamatay [please]. Don’t wish that upon me.”
(Something like that is just not right. There should also be a limit to bashing. I am still young at 28 [years old]. I do not want to die yet please.)

Atayde and De Guzman were rumored to be romantically linked after their friend and fellow celebrity Arci Muñoz teased the actor to Atayde in a press conference. However, Atayde clarified in an episode of “Tonight with Boy Abunda” in October 2019 that she and De Guzman were just good friends. /ra
