Macoy Dubs (real name: Mark Averilla) is set to be a regular fixture on TV starting this October.

The social media sensation is known for his entertaining videos, from dubbing over movie scenes to adopting personas. His latest hit has been his own impersonation of a Tita of Manila whom he calls Auntie Julie, “your ninang from Poveda.”

Soon, Averilla will be seen along with celebrity comedians and hosts in the TV5 noontime show “Lunch Out Loud.”

The variety show’s lineup includes Billy Crawford, Alex Gonzaga, Bayani Agbayani, K Brosas, KC Montero and Wacky Kiray, “Lunch Out Loud” announced last Friday, Oct. 2.

Averilla expressed gratitude for the opportunity as he posted a photo of the studio yesterday, Oct. 5, on Twitter.

“My workplace for the upcoming months… and hopefully… upcoming years,” he said. “Please support us and thank you God for everything. Dream come true.”

“Hindi man ako naging TV Reporter, naging host naman tayo para sa noontime show. Tagal kong hinintay at ipinagdasal to, Lord. Salamat po [talaga].”

(Though I did not become a TV reporter, I became a host for a noontime show. I have waited and prayed for this for so long, Lord. Thank you so much.

Averilla is also excited to work alongside K Brosas; the comedienne has been riding along on his videos through TikTok duets.

“Ang saya ng puso ko at makakawork kita Ms K (It is so heartwarming that I’ll get to work with you Miss K)!” he said after he and Brosas finally met in person, as seen in her tweet on Thursday, Oct. 1.
