Vina Morales’ phone snatched while inside car along Edsa
Vina Morales fell victim to a snatcher who grabbed her cellphone from her while she was in a car along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (Edsa).
The actress opened up about the incident on her Instagram page earlier today, Oct. 3. She noted that it was the first time she experienced having her cellphone stolen from her inside a car.
The thief managed to take her phone through a window she had left open while she was using it. Morales added that she was in front of a Phoenix gas station with security cameras installed when the theft happened.
After the man snatched her cellphone, Morales quickly got out of the car and chased him. While she was pursuing the thief, she met a bystander who supposedly knew something about the incident.
However, she eventually lost sight of the person when police officers suddenly arrived at the scene. The actress then spoke to Lt. Alvin Bagay, who asked her to file a report in a nearby precinct.
Morales chose not to visit the precinct despite the officer’s suggestion due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Following the theft, Morales lamented why there are people who continue to steal from others.
She also took the time to thank those who helped her and remind her followers to always be careful. /ra
