Nadine Lustre, James Reid showcase original tunes at Smart GigaFest Virtual Concert
It was a virtual concert like no other.
R&B artist and award-winning actress Nadine Lustre nearly stole the recent Smart GigaFest Virtual Concert with her sultry performance of her original songs, ‘I Like It,’ ‘No 32,’ and ‘St4y Up.’ On the other hand, Lustre’s former flame and love team James Reid also dished out his own R&B songs, including ‘Fiend,’ ‘I Know You Care,’ and ‘16B.’
Also part of the lineup was internationally-acclaimed singer KZ Tandingan and rapper Curtismith, much to the delight of Smart subscribers who streamed the virtual event.
The Smart GigaFest Virtual Concert is part of Smart’s month-long celebration as a way of giving back to its loyal subscribers all over the country. One of the highlights of the celebration is the launch of GigaLife App, a new simple, easy, and smart way for customers to manage their digital lifestyle with a few taps on their smartphones.
Prizes for lucky Smart subscribers
Apart from OPM performances, the virtual concert also features pre-show segments including ‘Workout Sessions’ with Vince Velasco and Katarina Rodriguez; ‘Relax, You Got This’ virtual discussion on mental health care with Macoy Dubs and expert Dr. RJ Naguit; ‘In Style’ with Aaron Black and Kim Cruz; and the ‘Smartees Play’ with Angelique Manto, Erika Rabara, John Manalo, Rammy Bitong, and Synjin Reyes.
The online concert also featured a dazzling 5-minute light show at the Smart Tower, which was shot using drones and cameras from various angles. It was a grand spectacle fit for the month-long celebration.
Lucky subscribers who tuned in to the online concert also won P600,000 worth of prizes, which included smartphones, tablets, mobile accessories, and more.
