Kapamilya star Angel Locsin gave fans a peek at the “new normal” routine when she is working, including having to undergo several swab tests.

The “Iba ‘Yan” host disclosed that she and co-workers have to get tested “before every work” to ensure both the safety of themselves and their loved ones.

Locsin’s post came with a short video clip showing the actress getting a swab test and explaining, “Bawat shoots na pinupuntahan namin, magsa-swabbing kami (Every shoot that we go to, we would undergo swab testing).”

“I’m all for a safe working environment not just for us sa set, but for our loved ones as well [heart emoji] Looking forward to the day without the threat of [COVID-19],” Locsin stressed.

One netizen who said she is a nurse from New York, meanwhile, noted that she thinks the actress having swab tests before and after work is overdoing it.

“Before and after work? That’s crazy! I’m a nurse here in New York and we only have to do it once a week,” the Instagram user with the handle @virtzsturge said.

Locsin replied, “minsan po kasi naka-lock in po kami ng matagal. weeks po [smiley] kaya to protect yung family na uuwian namin, kelangan rin po namin gawin uli [smiley] mabuti na po yung sigurado.”

(Sometimes we go under lock-in for a long time. Weeks. So, to protect our families we will go home to, we have to get tested again. It is better to be sure.)

Locsin also on Sept. 28 debunked a video claiming that she plans to run for senator under the Liberal Party, maintaining her stance that she has no intention of running for a position in the national government.

The actress once again ranked first in YouGov’s recently released “World’s Most Admired” list for women in the Philippines, while President Rodrigo Duterte took the top spot for men.  /ra
