WATCH: Maja Salvador throws ‘street food party’ as she hits 1 million subscribers on YouTube

Just a little over a year on her YouTube journey, Maja Salvador has finally gained over one million subscribers, and she marked the milestone with a “street food party.”
Salvador fittingly posted a vlog on the small celebration last Sunday, Sept. 20, where she opened up to fans why she ventured into vlogging through the video-sharing platform.
“Isang milyong pasasalamat mga beshies. One million na tayo, one million subscribers. Maraming-maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat,” the actress said. (One million thanks to you, beshies. We are one million now, one million subscribers. Thank you very much to you all.)
“Noong naisipan ko na gumawa nga ng YouTube channel, mga beshies, ginawa ko ‘yon dahil mas gusto ko na – ‘yung makilala niyo ba ako ng mas personal pa. ‘Yung kalalim-laliman na pagkakakilala, ‘yung ganun. ‘Yung Maja na hindi niyo napapanood sa TV, hindi sumasayaw sa stage o sa mga pelikula. ‘Yung ako mismo, ‘yung walang ibang character na ginagawa,” she explained.
(When I decided to create a YouTube channel, I did it because I want you to know me more personally, to know me in a deeper way. The Maja you do not watch on TV, not dancing on stage or in movies. The real me who is not playing any character.)
Salvador was joined by loved ones, including boyfriend Rambo Nuñez, for her small “street food party,” where they wrote “1M” by laying down kwek kwek and kikiam on a table, with fishballs and hotdogs as background.
To start out her vlog, the Kapamilya star looked back on her YouTube journey by providing snippets from her vlogs from May 2019 up to the present.
Salvador also took to Instagram on the same day to share the good news with her fans, thanking them for their support and promising more content.
“[One million] Subscribers na tayo sa [YouTube channel ko (heart emoji). Salamat sa pagsama sa masayang journey na ito,” the actress said. “Marami pa tayong pagsasamahan mga beshies.”

Salvador currently has 43 videos on her channel, called “Meet Maja.” She has gained over 27.3 million overall views, as of writing. JB
