Jinkee Pacquiao and actress Heaven Peralejo have spoken up after getting dragged into rumors regarding money.

Peralejo supposedly received financial assistance worth P100,000 from Jinkee, the mother of her ex-boyfriend Jimuel Pacquiao, according to talent manager and entertainment writer Lolit Solis. The actress also allegedly asked Sen. Manny Pacquiao for “ayuda” (financial aid).

Solis has since backtracked on her statement.

“I’ll get straight to the point. I didn’t ask anyone for money,” said Peralejo on Instagram Stories yesterday, Sept. 14.

“I am beyond grateful that I am blessed with opportunities to earn an honest living,” she said. “Whatever I have now is a product of my hard work and not extracted from anyone’s pockets.”

She also thanked Jimuel and his family for their “efforts to stand with me.”

“Hindi po siya totoo!” declared Jinkee via Instagram Stories yesterday regarding the rumors. “Hindi po [s’ya] naghingi at wala po kaming binigay na pera.”
