Ogie Alcasid, Christian Bautista to hold virtual concert in aid of children’s education amid COVID-19
OPM artists Ogie Alcasid, Christian Bautista and fellow musicians will be holding a virtual fundraising concert dedicated to supporting children’s education amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The two will be joined by rapper Quest and the musical duo Perkins Twins for World Vision Philippines’ “One Voice for Children” online concert set to premiere on Aug. 29, 7 p.m., via the organization’s official Facebook page.
As World Vision ambassadors, the artists will also be sharing their child-focused advocacies in the concert, which will be directed by Paolo Valenciano.
They will also be joined by other ambassadors and children’s welfare advocates including Kim Atienza, Christine Bersola-Babao, Jasmine Curtis-Smith, JJ Dolor, Tippy Dos Santos, Matteo Guidicelli, Gretchen Ho, Marc Nelson, Enzo Pineda, Miriam Quiambao, Bianca Umali, Janina Vela and Gelli Victor.
The said celebrities will be sharing inspiring messages to children and their families as the country continues to battle the COVID-19 pandemic.
