Heart Evangelista’s charity announces over 100 winners in tablet giveaway

Heart Evangelista is following through with her commitment to give tablets for distance-learning needs.
The actress’s project, BIG Heart PH, announced via social media yesterday, July 27, over 100 names from around the country who were eligible to receive a tablet with mobile internet.
Winners are set to receive a Cherry Mobile tablet with 900 MB internet data for 15 days, as well as get the chance to speak with Evangelista herself.

For a chance to win a tablet, applicants had to like the project’s Facebook page or follow the Instagram account. They were required to send a private message with personal details to either of the social media accounts, including why they needed the tablet.
Applicants have to submit a copy of a valid school ID, proof of enrollment from the school and the latest payslip from a parent or guardian or a certificate of indigency. Those who made it to the shortlist were included in a computer-generated raffle.
Evangelista launched the project on July 1. She revealed in June that she was able to purchase 550 tablets by selling one of her paintings. /ra
