Kris Aquino to give away free laptops to students for online classes
Kris Aquino will be giving away eight laptops to help students with their online classes amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
“Lahat ng magulang ang hangarin mapagtapos sa pag-aaral, maging maganda ang kinabukasan, at maging masaya ang mga anak nila,” she stated on her Facebook page last Friday, June 26. (All parents want their children to finish their studies, have a bright future and be happy.)
She then explained that her decision to give laptops is her way of making good on her promise to her late dad, former Senator Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino. Kris told her dad last Father’s Day that she would do whatever she can to help Filipinos rise again.
