LOOK: Studio Ghibli releases final set of free video call wallpaper backgrounds

As virtual meetings have become the norm amid the global lockdown, Studio Ghibli has released the final set of its free wallpapers people can use as backgrounds during video calls.

The famous Japanese studio has made available on its website on May 18 the last set of wallpapers featuring scenes from its films with the trademark Ghibli art style.

Below are the four wallpapers from the movies “Ocean Waves,” My Neighbors the Yamadas,” “The Wind Rises” and “The Red Turtle”:

Prior to this set, previous backgrounds made available by Studio Ghibli since April featured hit films “Spirited Away,” “Princess Mononoke” and “Howls Moving Castle,” among others.

Earlier this month, Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki offered an online tutorial on how to draw one of its most beloved characters, Totoro, the titular character of the hit film “My Neighbor Totoro.”

The Tokyo-based studio is also offering virtual tours of its museum while the world remains on lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  /ra
