James Reid to perform in online global music fest with Asian artists
James Reid is among the Asian artists tapped to perform in a virtual music festival on May 30.
“IDENTITY: Project Blue Marble” is an 8-hour live streaming event that will bring together Asian artists “for the fight against [COVID-19] and the xenophobia affecting Asian communities,” as per the festival’s Instagram yesterday, May 18.
Proceeds will go to non-profit United Way to raise funds for coronavirus disease (COVID-19) relief efforts across the globe.

Reid invited followers on Instagram today, May 19, to join the live stream on May 30, 2 p.m. PST (May 31, 5 a.m. in the Philippines) at identitylive.org.

Article continues after this advertisementThe line-up includes Taiwanese actor-singer Vanessa Wu, hip-hop group Far East Movement, Indonesian singer Agnez Mo and Korean-American rapper Jay Park.
Among the special guests is former NBA player Jeremy Lin, Malaysian comedian and “Crazy Rich Asians” actor Ronny Chieng, former United States presidential candidate Andrew Yang and Instagram poet Rupi Kaur. JB
