Gabbi Garcia, Khalil Ramos begin fundraiser for hospital workers
Actors Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos, together with some of their friends, launched a fundraising campaign dedicated to supporting the frontliners at the Ospital ng Parañaque and Pasay City General Hospital.
The celebrity couple’s initiative “#PayItForward” aims to raise P300,000 pesos in 14 days to provide personal protective equipment (PPE), food and other necessities to their beneficiaries, as seen on their respective Instagram accounts yesterday, April 2.
“They need all the help they could get so we’d like to humbly ask for your kind donations,” Ramos said in his post. “Any amount will be greatly appreciated!”

Garcia talked about the initiative on her Instagram page as well, attaching the details on how to donate.

Ramos and Garcia are part of the growing list of celebrities utilizing their platform to assist health workers in battling COVID-19 including newlywed actors Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati and actress Angel Locsin. Meanwhile, comedienne Maine Mendoza handed out monetary compensation to employees whose works are affected by the enhanced community quarantine through her “DoNation Drive” initiative. /ra
