Janelle Monáe will make her debut on the Oscars stage on Feb. 9, with her “special performance” airing live from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on ABC.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences has yet to announce what the Grammys veteran will perform at the much-anticipated awards ceremony.

Billie Eilish will also take the stage of Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre, just two weeks after she became the youngest artist in history to win the “Big Four” (Album of the Year, New Artist, Record and Song of the Year) at the 62nd Grammys.

The broadcast will include additional performances of the five Best Original Song nominees, with Elton John getting the 92nd Academy Awards swinging with “(I’m Gonna) Love Me Again” from “Rocketman” and Chrissy Metz with “I’m Standing with You” from “Breakthrough.”

This time, the Broadway legend will sing “Into the Unknown” from the sequel “Frozen 2” during the ceremony.

While Randy Newman will take on “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away” from “Toy Story 4”, Cynthia Erivo will perform “Stand Up” from “Harriet”, in which Monaé also appeared.

As the Los Angeles Times noted, Erivo is the only actor of color to receive a nomination at the 92nd Academy Awards, which have been criticized for their lack of diversity first years after #OscarsSoWhite.

In addition to performing at the 2020 Oscars, Monáe will soon return to the big screen in “Antebellum” from the filmmaking duo of Gerard Bush plus Christopher Renz. IB /ra
