“The Comedy Queen” Ms. Ai-Ai Delas Alas will always have a “mother figure” presence to her younger co-stars ever since she lead-starred in a very popular movie anthology years back. And each time Ms. Ai-Ai Delas Alas gets to work with a primarily young cast, that endearing quality will always be there for moviegoers. This will be no different from ‘D’NINANG’ which is her latest lead starring role in a movie.
‘D’NINANG’ is no crime-drama. Based purely on what I can decipher from its official trailer, it is founded on the dynamics of a family whose business is that of committing different petty crimes to make a living with focus and emphasis, however, on the comical and hilarious aspects of it. And for me, this will definitely be the fun part to look forward to in ‘D’NINANG.’ What a befitting way, indeed, for Regal Entertainment, Inc. to kick off the New Year with fun and laughter!
‘D’NINANG’ marks the fourth movie role of Kisses Delavin whose popularity is beginning to rival some of the biggest established young actresses in the industry. This soon-to-be-released movie is also the first time that Kisses Delavin will be paired with another young popular actor McCoy De Leon. These are two points to keep in mind with ‘D’NINANG’ as this movie is significant in proving that the respective movie careers of Kisses Delavin and McCoy De Leon are moving forward.

‘D’NINANG’ fits the mold of previous Regal movies like that of ‘UNLI LIFE’, ‘My Hopeful Romantic’ and ‘Papa Pogi’ which are pure comedies with a lot of heart in it. Definitely, this is going to be a movie for everyone to enjoy. The type of feel-good movie that you can watch with your entire family. And have a lot of laughs with them as well.
‘D’NINANG’ stars Ms. Ai-Ai Delas Alas, Kisses Delavin, McCoy De Leon, Kelvin Miranda, Joey Marquez, Kiray Celis, and Lou Veloso. Plus, this is the debut of “Regal Baby” Angel Guardian.
