LOOK: Richard Gomez earns doctoral degree in public administration
Richard Gomez graduated with a doctorate in public administration from the Cebu Technological University recently, proving that it is never too late to pursue further education.
The actor-politician posted photos and clips from the graduation ceremony last Friday, Dec. 20 on his Instagram page, moments after receiving his degree.

His wife, Lucy Torres accompanied him to the event, and even gave a speech at the said university.
“My thesis was on Modeling the Intertwining Constructs of Green Information Technology Adoption Diversity which I defended not only before the panel of professors and The Dean but also with other graduating students present,” Gomez said.
“This was a very enriching course and experience for me especially in my capacity as a local chief executive,” he added.
Gomez is currently the mayor of Ormoc City in Leyte. Meanwhile, Torres is the incumbent representative of the fourth district of the said province.
The mayor’s educational achievement comes months after his daughter Juliana also graduated last June. Juliana earned her high school diploma from the Everest Academy Manila in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. JB
