‘I am more in love than ever’: Iza Calzado marks 1st wedding anniversary

December 19 will always be a special occasion for Iza Calzado since it was the day she was married to the love of her life, businessman Ben Wintle.
It has been a year since the two tied the knot in a scenic beach wedding in Palawan, and the married life just could not get any more blissful. Calzado marked their first wedding anniversary with a throwback on the day she became Mrs. Calzado-Wintle, sharing a photo via Instagram of her in her Rajo Laurel wedding dress while standing on the sandy shore of Club Paradise Palawan.
“Exactly one year ago today, I wore this dress for the most important day of my life — the day I decided to be Mrs. Calzado-Wintle,” said Calzado on Dec. 19. “Thank you @rajolaurel for making this beautiful dress for me.”

She also posted a photo of her and Wintle as husband and wife just as the sun was setting. As per Calzado, she loves Wintle more than ever.
“A year in and I am more in love with you than ever. Through life’s ups and downs, through my crazy tantrums you have stayed by my side,” she said. “Thank you for being my partner in life and for accepting me for who I am while encouraging and supporting me to bloom into the best version of myself.”

The actress placed God in the center, considering the special moment as one wherein God made His presence and blessing felt by giving them the most beautiful day.
“As we said on that day, together we are unbreakable,” she added. “Happy Anniversary, my love. Here’s to the first of many!”
Calzado also could not help but poke fun at Wintle and posted a photo of him crying in their wedding.
“Ben’s face when he realized he booked a ticket to England on our Anniversary!” she said in jest. “I actually let him book that ticket because I also forgot it was our anniversary. That’s what happens when you’re both busy!”

Calzado and Wintle got engaged in October 2017 after he proposed to her in front of family and close friends in Sonya’s Garden.
