Jolo Revilla, beauty queen Angelica Alita wed in California

MANILA, Philippines — Actor and Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla tied the knot with girlfriend Binibining Pilipinas 2016 first runner-up Angelica Alita in California, USA on Sunday (Monday in Philippine time).

Jolo’s father Senator Bong Revilla shared parts of the wedding via Facebook livestream.

As seen in the video, Jolo turned emotional as Alita walked down the aisle.

“Because of you and what you do, you made me a good man. Thank you for loving me. You made me realize that I don’t need to become someone else and pretend to be someone else,” Jolo said.

Alita, on the other hand, promised: “Today, I vow to know myself as you and you as myself. I promise to dream with you and be your biggest supporter, to encourage you and to stand by you from this day forward.”

Among the visitors at the wedding were Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte, House Majority Leader and Leyte Rep. Martin Romualdez, Cavite Vice Governor Jonvic Remulla, former senator Jinggoy Estrada, and more.

It was in August when the actor-politician confirmed he is getting married to Alita.
