‘Loving you will always be timeless’: Janica Nam Floresca marks Hashtag Franco Hernandez’s 2nd death anniversary
Model Janica Nam Floresca commemorated the second death anniversary of her late boyfriend Franco Hernandez with a heartfelt message for him.
Hernandez was a member of the all-male dance group Hashtags. He tragically lost his life in a drowning accident in November 2017. He was then vacationing in Davao Occidental with Floresca and friends.
“I lost my heart exactly on this date when God called you home,” Floresca said in her Instagram post on Monday, Nov. 11. “It’s been over 2 years but it feels like just yesterday.”

She accompanied her post with old photos of her with Hernandez and another photo of her at his resting place, which she adorned with flowers and a picture of him. One of the flower arrangements was formed into a bottle of alcohol with a ribbon around it that read, “Cheers my Love!”
“I remember exactly how you looked like in that moment and it breaks my heart every time I see it,” she stated. “I remember the sound of my voice as I was screaming for help.”
“I remember everything and I’ll never forget,” Floresca added.
Despite the loss of her beau, Floresca said: “But for the sake of my sanity and my mental health, I grew myself in a way I didn’t know was even possible during those traumatic times. And without a doubt you have helped me shape into the woman I am today. Because of you I know how to love deeper, grow stronger, live happier, become a fighter, appreciate life.”
Floresca also admitted to experiencing struggles since losing Hernandez, but believes he is still with her and will help her direct her “path step by step.”
“Thank you for always being there my love. You have shown me so much love and so much more up until now,” she added. “And to love or have been loved, that is enough.”
“It has been 2 meaningful years since the day God changed my life forever. But loving you will always be timeless,” Floresca said. “And as I turn this page, I’m wishing you a Happy 2nd birthday in heaven my Angel.” /ra
