Miley Cyrus calls Cody Simpson ‘BF’ amid relationship rumors
Miley Cyrus is well back in the dating game and is not shying from the public eye after paparazzi caught her kissing singer Cody Simpson last week.
A quick round-up of her love life over the past year: The “Wrecking Ball” pop star married Australian actor Liam Hemsworth in December 2018. In August, Cyrus’ representative confirmed that they had split, and shortly after pictures of Cyrus kissing Kaitlynn Carter surfaced. The two women parted ways on Sept. 21, People reported, and last week Cyrus was spotted kissing her longtime friend Simpson, as per US news outlets.
The 26-year-old singer poked fun at the candid kissing video taken in a Los Angeles eatery, which was published in TMZ on Friday, Oct. 4. She posted the video on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Oct. 5, and wrote, “Can a girl not get a f*cking açai bowl and a morning make out session in peace?!?!”

She also defended herself against judgments on her dating life. “I am grown now and make choices as adult knowing the truth/details/reality,” she said, and noted that men are “rarely slut shamed.”

She said dating is “new to me too” and seemed to allude to her long-term relationship with Hemsworth throughout her teens and 20s. She appealed, “I have a great life I wouldn’t trade for ‘privacy’ but PLEASE don’t make this awkward for me!… Get used to me dating—this is where I am at!”
She bared her affection for Simpson on the same day on her Instagram Stories, sharing a shirtless picture of him and wrote, “22 [check] Australian (my type) [check] Abs [check].”

This week opened with a new level of romance for the budding couple as Cyrus was hospitalized due to tonsillitis. Sharing a selfie on a hospital bed on Instagram Stories yesterday, Oct. 9, Cyrus wrote, “BF coming to visit me @ the hospy.”

During Simpson’s hospital visit, he serenaded her with his guitar and even sang her a new song that seemef to be inspired by her as he called her his “golden thing.” He also brought red roses as a gift.
