LOOK: Derek Ramsay, Andrea Torres speed through zipline in Dubai
Derek Ramsay and Andrea Torres flew to Dubai, United Arab Emirates for a basketball event which the actor took part in, and later indulged in an adrenaline-pumping activity.
The two celebrities arrived in the city last Friday, Sept. 27, as seen in his Instagram post on the same day, after ending speculations about their relationship by admitting that they are “more than friends.”
Torres was rumored to be the cause of Ramsay’s breakup with his girlfriend for six years, model Joanna Villablanca. The actor denied the rumors, and clarified that Torres had no involvement in his split with Villablanca last June.
Ramsay and Torres struck wacky poses by the famous Burj Khalifa after landing in the said city, as seen in Ramsay’s Instagram post.
“Beh Juliet!!!!! Di ka kasama (You are not included)!! [laughs]” Ramsay joked.
Juliet is one of Torres’ characters in the recently-concluded TV drama series “The Better Woman”, where the two worked on together.
Two days after Ramsay’s basketball game on Saturday, Sept. 28, the two took some time to try out one of the activities in the city — the XLine. It is the world’s longest urban zip line that goes at a speed of up to 80 kilometers per hour.
Ramsay posted a video of him riding the zip line on his Instagram page yesterday, Sept. 30.
“What a rush!!!” he said. “Hope you enjoyed @andreaetorres @x_line.”
“Nakalipad ako kasabay ni Kidlaaaat (I flew together with Kidlat)! [laughs] So so so so so happy,” Torres replied. “Thank you again and again.”
Ramsay sped over some of the city’s bodies of water, roads and buildings, as seen in the clip. He also described the experience as “awesome,” after a person off camera asked him about it.
He also shared some moments before he and Torres began zooming off on their respective zip lines. The two wore a helmet with a small camera attached on each one, as seen in Ramsay’s post on the same day.
“Come fly with me,” he said. “[Umpisa] pa lang to chinchin (This is just the start chinchin)!!!” JB
