Bela Padilla aired her disappointment online when she heard a Grab driver disclose her home address via radio.

The actress said on Twitter on Friday, Aug. 9, “Rode grab today and the driver announced on the Grab radio where I live.”

She tagged Grab Philippines’ official Twitter handle and said, “This can’t possibly be right.”

The ride-hailing company promptly responded to her tweet to apologize for the incident. “This incident shouldn’t have happened since we value every passenger’s safety and privacy.” It said it would launch an investigation on the matter.

According to Grab’s guidelines, drivers should respect passengers’ privacy and personal space. It is also advised to “keep two-way radio conversations at a minimum.” They are also instructed not to post passengers’ personal information online and are informed that it is punishable by law.

In January 2018, former adult film star Maria Ozawa called the attention of Uber and Grab drivers for stalking and sharing her number to other men.  /ra
