LOOK: Maritoni Fernandez’s daughter graduates from college, all set for master’s
Maritoni Fernandez is a proud mother as her daughter Lexi Alvarez graduated from college, and now gets set to pursue a master’s degree.
Fernandez attended the commencement ceremony together with Lexi’s father, Alex Alvarez, at the Philippine International Convention Center yesterday, Aug. 3.
“This one’s for you @leximalvarez1 Your Dad and I are so very proud of you. Congratulations sweetheart.” Fernandez said via Instagram yesterday.

Fernandez could not help but gush over her daughter’s latest milestone, sharing photos from the ceremony together with a sweet message for Lexi.
“You did it my #angellove @leximalvarez1 I couldn’t be more proud. All the sleepless, stressful days and nights the past few years have all been worth it,” Fernandez said.

“Today, you are a graduate. Enjoy it and then be off to your masters. Go get them honey!” She added. “Whatever you dream and wish to achieve, I am and will always be behind you all the way. I am your biggest cheerleader and your greatest fan. I love you so much. Woohoo!!!!”
Lexi also took to social media to share her new milestone with her fans and followers.
“We made it. #RoadtoPICC” she said as she posed with fellow graduates in her post on Instagram Stories yesterday.

She also expressed her gratefulness for her parents who were there to witness her achievement.
“Extremely rare to have both my parents present & together in a photo, but I am so grateful that my ‘unconventional’ family is one I wouldn’t change for the world,” she said via Instagram Stories yesterday as she posed with her mom and dad.

Lexi earned a bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Education from the University of Asia and the Pacific in Pasig City. JB
